Privacy policy

Who we are

LunarBuild ("we", "us", "our") operates lunarbuild.io. We're a mobile app development agency. If you'd rather not read all this, the short version is: we collect as little as we can, we don't sell anything, and you can have your data deleted at any time by emailing hello@lunarbuild.io.

What we collect on lunarbuild.io

• Google Analytics 4 — page views, device type, country, referrer, and anonymous event data (e.g. "someone clicked Book a call"). We do not use Google Signals, ad personalization, or remarketing audiences. IP addresses are not stored.
• Cal.com — when you open the booking widget on this site, Cal.com sets its own cookies and processes your name, email, and meeting details to schedule the call. See Cal.com's privacy policy.
• Fonts — we load Google Fonts (Inter, Instrument Serif, Geist Mono) from fonts.googleapis.com, which logs your IP to deliver the font file. We don't get that data.
• No advertising trackers. No Facebook Pixel, no LinkedIn Insight, no third-party retargeting. None.

What we collect when you contact us

• Email — if you email hello@lunarbuild.io, we keep the email thread in Google Workspace so we can reply and so we have a record of what we agreed.
• Intro call — if you book via Cal.com, we receive your name, email, time zone, and whatever you write in the booking form. We use it to run the call and follow up with a written scope.
• Project work — once we're working together, we'll only collect what we need to do the build: GitHub usernames, design files you share, credentials you hand us. We sign an NDA before any of that.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data. Ever.
• We don't run ad-network pixels on this site.
• We don't add you to a newsletter without you asking.
• We don't share client work publicly without explicit written sign-off.

How long we keep things

Analytics data is retained for 14 months in GA4 (the default). Email threads we keep indefinitely unless you ask us to delete them. Project files are deleted from our drives 12 months after the engagement ends, unless you've asked us to keep a copy on standby for ongoing maintenance.

Your rights (GDPR, CCPA, and elsewhere)

You can ask us to:

• Show you what data we hold about you.
• Correct anything that's wrong.
• Delete it all.
• Stop processing it.
• Export it in a portable format.

Email hello@lunarbuild.io with the subject "Privacy request" and we'll handle it within 30 days, usually within a few business days.

Subprocessors

We use a small number of trusted tools to run the business:

• Google Workspace — email, docs (US, EU SCCs)
• Google Analytics 4 — site analytics (US)
• Cal.com — meeting booking (US/EU)
• GitHub — source code hosting (US)
• Firebase Hosting (Google Cloud) — this website (US/EU)
• Slack / Discord — client comms during active engagements (US)

Cookies

On this marketing site, the only cookies that get set are GA4's _ga* cookies (analytics) and any cookies Cal.com sets when you open the booking widget. There are no advertising cookies. You can block all of them via your browser settings; the site still works.

Changes

If we make a material change to this policy we'll bump the date at the top and, where the change affects existing clients, email them directly.
