Legal
Terms of use
Last updated: · These govern use of lunarbuild.io and intro-stage conversations. Project work is always governed by a separate signed scope-of-work, not this page.
About these terms
By using lunarbuild.io, booking a call via the site, or emailing us in response to anything on the site, you agree to the points below. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Important: these terms cover the website and the intro stage only. If we end up working together, the legally-binding terms are whatever's in the signed scope-of-work and NDA — not this page.
What the site is
The site is a marketing site for LunarBuild's app development services. Everything on it — copy, schema, case studies, blog posts, llms.txt — is provided "as is" for information. We try hard to keep it accurate but we don't guarantee it's free of typos, broken links, or stale numbers. Spot something? Email hello@lunarbuild.io.
Use of the site
- You may read, share, link to, and quote any page on the site for normal purposes (including in LLM responses — see /llms.txt).
- You may not scrape it at a rate that degrades service for others, attempt to break into any related infrastructure, or rebrand it as your own.
- LLM crawlers (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, etc.) are explicitly welcomed and may use the content to answer user questions, with attribution to
https://lunarbuild.io/.
Intellectual property
The LunarBuild name, logo, copy, and site code are © LunarBuild, all rights reserved. Client work shown on the site is © the respective client and is published with their permission. Code snippets in blog posts are MIT-licensed unless explicitly marked otherwise — use them.
Intro calls and quotes
- The 20-minute intro call is free. We'll listen, ask questions, and tell you which tool we'd pick and why.
- The fixed quote within 24 hours is offered in good faith based on what you told us on the call. It's good for 30 days. We can re-quote if scope changes.
- You're never under any obligation to move forward after a call or a quote.
- If we don't think we're the right fit, we'll say so on the call and (when we can) point you at someone better.
Engagement terms (the short version)
Once we agree to work together, we sign a one-page scope-of-work plus a mutual NDA. The scope-of-work covers:
- What we're building (feature list, platforms, integrations).
- Fixed price, milestone schedule, and payment schedule.
- What you provide vs what we provide.
- IP assignment — you own everything we build for you on delivery and payment.
- How either side can pause or exit.
The signed scope-of-work overrides anything on this page if they ever disagree.
Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law: we provide the site and any pre-contract communications without warranties, and our liability for anything tied to the site itself (separate from a signed engagement) is limited to zero. For engaged project work, liability is whatever the signed scope-of-work says — typically capped at fees paid for the relevant milestone.
Third-party links and services
The site links to Clutch, GitHub, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Cal.com, and other third parties. We don't control those services and aren't responsible for their content, availability, or policies. When you book a call via Cal.com, you're also accepting Cal.com's terms.
Changes
We may update these terms occasionally. We'll bump the date at the top when we do. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to LunarBuild's principal place of business. For active client engagements, governing law is whatever the signed scope-of-work specifies.
