When you've outgrown the tool

Migrate from FlutterFlow to Flutter — without starting over.

FlutterFlow already generates real Flutter code. We turn it into a clean, tested codebase your engineers can own — or set up a hybrid so you keep FlutterFlow where it still saves time.

Start with a free audit

Signs it's time to migrate

  • Most new features need custom code anyway
  • You're hiring Flutter engineers who want a normal codebase, tests, and code review
  • Performance or architecture problems you can't fix inside the visual builder
  • You need CI/CD, multiple environments, or a modular codebase

Not every app needs to leave. If FlutterFlow is still saving you time, we'll recommend staying and adding custom code — see FlutterFlow rescue.

Three ways to do it

1. Stay in FlutterFlow, add custom code

Cheapest. Keep the visual builder and push its limits with custom widgets, actions, and native modules.

2. Hybrid

Keep FlutterFlow for standard screens and move complex features into a Flutter package you own. The setup most production teams end up with.

3. Full migration

Export once, then refactor into a clean Flutter codebase: proper state management, a real data layer, tests, and CI. FlutterFlow is retired.

How we migrate

  1. Free audit and a written migration plan — which option, in what order, with what risk.
  2. Fixed quote, paid per milestone.
  3. Export and restructure: architecture, state management, and the data layer first.
  4. Feature parity screen by screen, with tests and weekly builds on your phone.
  5. CI/CD, store release, and a handoff doc so your team can take over.

FAQ

Questions we get on every call.

Can't find what you need? Email us or book a 20-min call.

Can you export FlutterFlow to Flutter?
Yes. FlutterFlow can export its generated Flutter code. The export is a starting point — the real work is restructuring it into maintainable architecture, which is what we do.
Do I have to rebuild my app from scratch?
No. We keep your UI, logic, and backend, and refactor the generated code instead of rewriting it.
How much does a FlutterFlow migration cost?
It depends on the size of the app and which option fits. The audit and migration plan are free; the work is a fixed quote. Projects start at $5,000. How pricing works.
Can we keep using FlutterFlow for some screens?
Yes — that's the hybrid option, and it's often the best value.
